Temperatures climb more Wednesday as some rain chances return

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Highs will be creeping towards 90 degrees around Middle Georgia tomorrow with the possibility for a couple of stray showers.
This Evening
A mostly sunny afternoon will become a clear night around Middle Georgia once again. Expect lows largely in the lower 60s accompanied by light and variable winds. A shower could be possible in the northernmost counties tonight however the odds are against it.
Tomorrow
Wednesday will be even warmer as we should get a few 90s going for highs around Middle Georgia. A bit more cloud cover is likely than Monday or Tuesday in the afternoon with a slim chance for a shower. Most of the region will stay dry. Wind will be light from the west-northwest.
Overnight will be mostly clear with lows expected in the low to mid 60s. No rain is expected and the wind will be light and variable.
Thursday and Beyond
Mostly sunny skies are likely Thursday afternoon with many highs reaching the 90 degree mark again. Wind will be light and mainly out of the north through the rest of the week. Rain odds will be low however Friday and Saturday a couple of showers could be possible.
The Tropics
We have two areas to observe in the Atlantic Basin at this time. Invest92L has 90% odds to become a depression within the next 48 hours. The other disturbance is fresh off the west coast of Africa with 20% odds to become a depression within the next 7 days. Interests in the Southeastern US should at the minimum keep an eye on Invest92L as it could likely become Gabrielle, the next name on the list. The projected path of this currently looks to bring it at least towards the Peach State.
