Overnight will be cool with most spots likely to see temperature valleys in the low to mid 40s. A couple of upper 30s will be possible in the coldest spots. The wind will be calm generally out of the southwest.

Friday and Beyond

The 44th Cherry Blossom Festival officially begins Friday and the weather can’t really be any better. Temperatures will peak in the mid to upper 70s accompanied by light wind out of the southwest. 80s are likely through the weekend. The only downside is the tree pollen levels could reach their highest point of the season so far. Rain odds will be limited to a shower or two Sunday and Monday which will do little to lower those levels. Those planning to spend a lot of time outside for the festival (or any other reason) should medicate or be mindful of how much time they spend outdoors to limit allergy impacts.
