Telfair County Sheriff’s Office makes arrest in drug bust

MILAN, Georgia (41NBCWMGT) – The Telfair County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest in a drug bust Friday, November 13.

According to the office’s Facebook page, 27-year-old Rirecus Deeds at a dead end on East Railroad Street in Milan He’s charged with violation of the Georgia controlled substance act, cruelty of children and an outstanding bench warrant for battery.

Sheriff Chris Steverson says a child was present during the arrest.

Deeds is being held in the Telfair County jail.

The sheriff’s office expects to make more drug arrest with the help of the community.
