Teen wanted in girl’s fatal shooting surrenders

ATLANTA, Georgia – Atlanta police say a teenager wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of a 16-year-old girl has turned himself in.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (http://on-ajc.com/2b9BOZU ) reports that Officer Kim Jones says 17-year-old Quotavious Anderson allegedly shot Kashara Parks on Friday afternoon at the Allen Temple Apartments in northwest Atlanta. Jones says the girl was found dead in the living room of an apartment on Reeves Circle.
Jones says Anderson turned himself in on Monday at the Fulton County Jail. He is facing a murder charge. It was not immediately known if he has a lawyer.Police did not release any more information in the case.
