Teen shot near vacant Church’s Chicken in South Macon

MACON, Georgia ( 41NBC/WMGT) – A 16-year-old was shot Friday night near a vacant Church’s Chicken on Houston Avenue.

A news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office said Kyle Finney was walking down a pathway alone behind Church’s Chicken when he heard several gun shots.

Finney ran when he heard the gun shots, but later on discovered he was shot in his right calf.

Finney called 911 and was taken to Navicent Health. He is in stable condition.

Finney told police he did not see who was firing the shots.
