Clay shooting fundraiser in Butler this weekend to support Taylor County 4-H S.A.F.E. team
The event will feature team competitions, prizes and a silent auction to support the Taylor County 4-H S.A.F.E. shooting sports program.

BUTLER, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A clay shooting fundraiser benefiting the Taylor County 4-H S.A.F.E. team is scheduled for Saturday in Butler.
According to organizers, Public Service Communications will host the 3rd annual Modified Clay Shoot on March 14 at 167 Oak Street in Butler. Organizers say the event supports the Taylor County 4-H S.A.F.E. program, which stands for Shooting Awareness, Fun and Education, by providing resources for equipment, training, and competition opportunities for local youth involved in shooting sports.
Registration begins at 9 a.m., with shooting set to start at 10 a.m.
Teams of four can participate in the modified clay shooting course, which includes both team and individual competitions. An optional doubles round will also be available.
Entry is $150 per four-person team, with the optional doubles round costing $10 per person. The registration deadline is Thursday, March 12.
The event will include awards and prizes, a silent auction and door prizes. Lunch will also be available for purchase.
Individuals and businesses are encouraged to participate by forming teams or supporting the event through sponsorship opportunities.
