MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – If you haven’t filed for your income taxes yet,
the deadline is tomorrow.
Tax professionals say they’re here to help. George Cauble, the district manager at H&R block in Macon, says a number of changes can happen every year without you knowing it, and while some people may feel comfortable filing on various websites online, it’s always a good idea to run your paperwork passed tax professionals.
“Income taxes changes so much, so that even if your situation is unchanged from last year, the tax laws may have changed and you don’t know about it so that’s why it’s always good to get a professionals opinion on it,” Cauble said.
Cauble says it’s important to get those taxes filed as quickly as possible, so you don’t face a penalty.
Because of that, H&R Block is extending their hours until 10 tomorrow night and won’t leave until the last person has been taken care of.
