Tattnall Square baseball moves to 10-0
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Tattnall Square’s baseball team remains undefeated after a 12-0 win over Strong Rock Christian Thursday.
The Trojans (10-0) were led by junior Nick Diponzio, who was 2-for-3 at the plate with a double and three RBI. Diponzio added a stolen base.
Senior Jonathan Ward was 2-for-4, recording a double and two RBI. Ward also stole three bases.
Sophomore Garrett Houston pitched a six-inning shutout for Tattnall Square, allowing six hits with one strikeout and two walks.
With the loss, Strong Rock (4-4) drops to 0-3 on the road.
The Trojans, who are outscoring their opponents 100-20, visit Eagle’s Landing Christian Saturday. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.
