Sunny skies are back for Middle Georgia

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Peach State will get a break from the clouds the next couple of days.

Scattered clouds from this afternoon will carry into the overnight hours before working to clear out ahead of tomorrow morning. It will be a chilly night with lows expected in the mid to upper 30s around the region. A Frost Advisory is in effect for Butts, Jasper, and Putnam Counties until 9:00 am tomorrow morning. Overnight wind will be light out of the west-southwest.

It will be a mostly sunny day with cloud cover likely limited to just a few cirrus clouds in the afternoon. Highs will reach the lower 70s for most of the region with ambient wind coming from the southwest around 5 mph.

Tomorrow night a few clouds are expected to pass over as winds come from the west-southwest around 5 mph. Low temperatures will largely fall into the low to mid 40s.

It will get rather warm this week with highs climbing into the upper 70s by Wednesday and the lower 80s Thursday. Cloud cover will ramp up late in the week ahead of another wet weekend for the Peach State.
