Sunny and mild Tuesday on deck

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Pleasant weather remains with Middle Georgia after a cloudy weekend.
The Rest of the Evening
Skies will stay clear over Middle Georgia as temperatures plummet towards the freezing point. Winds tonight will come from the northwest at around 5 mph.
Tomorrow
Mostly sunny skies will stick with Middle Georgia as cloud cover is limited to a few cirrus clouds in the late afternoon. Temperatures will reach the upper 50s and lower 60s with winds from the southwest at about 5-10 mph.
Cloud cover will thicken in the evening as the sun sets with a weak cold front arriving overnight. This weak front could bring a few showers to the region, mainly north of I-16. Temperatures will dip into the upper 30s and lower 40s with winds from the southwest at about 5-12 mph. Gusts could push upwards of 20 mph.
Wednesday and Beyond
Following a cloudy start conditions will clear around lunchtime. Highs will reach into the upper 50s and lower 60s with winds from the north-northwest likely to come in at about 10-20 mph. Gusts could reach upwards of 30 mph. Overnight skies will be mostly clear with lows expected to dip below freezing for most of the region.
It will remain mild (if not warm) the remainder of the week and into the weekend. Better rain odds look to return Sunday.
