Sunny and hot again Tuesday afternoon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Temperatures will climb into the 90s across Middle Georgia Tuesday afternoon.
This Evening
A sunny and very warm afternoon will become a clear and somewhat muggy night with temperatures likely to valley in the low to mid 60s, or close to 5 degrees above the normal for this time of year. The wind will be light from the southeast at 5-10 mph. No rain is expected tonight, however fog is likely leading into the start of Tuesday.
Tomorrow
Tuesday’s skies should be similar to Monday’s however a few more cumulus clouds are likely during the afternoon. A stray shower/storm cannot be ruled out, but rain is unlikely. Temperatures will largely peak in the lower 90s as the wind flows from the southeast-southeast around 5 mph.
Overnight will be mostly clear until the morning hours Wednesday draw on. Fog will likely fill in at that point as temperatures valley in the mid to upper 60s across the region. The wind will remain light from the southeast-southeast.
Wednesday and Beyond
The odds for isolated storms will remain low Wednesday however the odds will climb a bit more leading towards the holiday weekend. Expect afternoon temperatures to largely reach the low to mid 90s with overnight lows staying in the mid 60s. Fog will be likely most mornings this week.
