Saturday will have the highest rain odds as a cold front approaches from the northwest. The best window for storm activity will be in the late afternoon and evening. Activity should overall be isolated in nature. Sunday could see a storm or two early (primarily southeastern counties of the region) before mostly sunny conditions take over for the rest of the day. Pleasant northeast breezes will start Monday and carry into the middle of next week.

The Tropics

Chances are we will have Tropical Storm Gabrielle before long. Right now Invest91L has 90% odds to become a depression within the next week and 60% odds to become a depression within the next 48 hours. As the NHC continues to shave the northern portions of the Cone of Uncertainty away monitoring this system becomes more important.
