Summer holds on in Georgia, as Hurricane Maria threatens Puerto Rico
Good Tuesday Evening!
As we head through the end of the week it looks like summer is going to be hanging on with highs in the upper 80’s and lower 90’s as well as summer like storm chances throughout the week. We will see a small cool down as we head through the end of the weekend, but expect dry conditions for much of next week.
At the same time as we are enjoying nice, warm weather here in Middle Georgia residents of the Caribbean are bracing for yet another major hurricane, expected to make landfall in Puerto Rico as a potentially “catastrophic”, category 5 storm. At this time it does not appear that Hurricane Maria will head towards Georgia, but we will definitely be watching this dangerous storm closely.
