Safety measures among topics on tonight’s Bibb Board of Education agenda

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/ WMGT) – Members of the Bibb County Board of Education are meeting tonight. School leaders are discussing the budget for the next school year, as well as safety features for schools.

It’s been about two weeks since Westside High School started using Metal Detectors at entrances to the school. This is part of a pilot program. The district is expected to discuss implementing the method in other schools.

41NBC’s Tanya Modersitzki is at the meeting and will have more on what’s to come for the next school year.
