Storm odds down a bit this evening

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Partly to mostly cloudy skies will stay this evening, however storms should remain isolated.
This Evening
Skies around Middle Georgia are largely populated with cumulus clouds, however rain has been pretty hard to come by so far today for most of the region. This should remain the case through this evening. Cloud cover likely will not budge much, however, and a couple of isolated storms or showers cannot be ruled out. Overnight lows will be in the lower 70s with ambient wind coming from the west-southwest around 5 mph.
Tomorrow
Expect partly cloudy skies Friday with overall rain chances being limited to a couple of isolated storms or showers in the afternoon. Highs will reach the lower 90s with heat indexes likely eclipsing 100 degrees in the afternoon. Ambient wind will be gentle out of the northwest.
Overnight expect partly to mostly cloudy skies with lows mainly in the lower 70s. One or two upper 60s cannot be ruled out, however, as the wind blows out of the north-northeast around 5 mph.
