Police: Stolen trailer recovered in Middle Georgia after camera alert
Police say license plate recognition technology helped locate the stolen trailer Friday.

REYNOLDS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A stolen trailer reported out of Maine has been recovered after being detected by license plate recognition technology in Reynolds.
According to the Reynolds Police Department, an officer was monitoring FLOCK cameras on Friday when a camera issued an alert for a stolen trailer. After identifying the trailer, the officer broadcast the description to nearby law enforcement agencies.
The trailer was later confirmed stolen and was located and stopped in Butler. The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office has taken over the investigation.
Reynolds Police thanked the Butler Police Department and the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office for their help.
