Stevi B’s Donates Portion of Proceeds to Injured Fire Fighter

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Stevi B’s in north Macon is helping one injured fire fighter, one slice at a time.

Every Wednesday, during the month of September, the restaurant on Tom Hill Sr. Boulevard is donating a portion of their proceeds to Eric John.

In July, Macon-Bibb fire fighter Sgt. Eric John was hit by a car and critically injured while working an accident scene. He’s been in the hospital ever since. For each sale on Wednesdays, the restaurant is donating 10% of its earnings to John’s mounting medical bills. Customers just have to come in and request to support Eric John.

“He’s just a really special guy,” said John’s friend Liana Rogers, “and we’re all coming together to help him out.”

For more information, on helping, text “Eric John” to 28748.
