Staying below average Thursday

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Temperatures will top off in the upper 80s and lower 90s again Thursday afternoon.
This Evening
Partly cloudy this afternoon will clear some heading through the evening, however scattered clouds should remain through much of the night. Wind will remain out of the east-northeast around 5 mph as temperatures bottom out in the upper 60s and lower 70s. A few isolated showers will be possible, however thunder and lightning will be hard to come by.
Tomorrow
Thursday will see partly cloudy skies over the southern parts of the region and mostly sunny skies further north. Highs will mainly reach the upper 80s but one or two spots may still reach 90. A few isolated showers will be possible throughout the day, especially for the southern half of the region. Wind will be out of the east-northeast at about 6-13 mph, gusting as high as 20 mph.
Overnight will be mostly clear with temperatures falling into the 60s not long after midnight. Lows around the region will be in the low to mid 60s accompanied by an east-northeast wind of 5-10 mph.
