St. Joseph’s Catholic School hosts its annual fall festival

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Students at St. Joseph’s Catholic School were excited to get out and have some fun Friday afternoon.

The school held its annual fall festival. It included bounce houses, food, games and one of the most anticipated games, a dunk tank. Two priests and two teachers participated as students tried to dunk them in the water.

The funds raised will benefit the school on this year’s project.

“Every year our home and school association has a focus project. This year’s focus project is to upgrade our lunch room. This building was built in 1953, and the rest of the school has been remodeled. Now, it’s time to get the lunchroom,” says Principal Kaye Hlavaty.

The school plans to raise about $25,000 to renovate the cafeteria.
