Sonny’s BBQ in Macon Closes

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – After 12 years in business, the Sonny’s BBQ location on Presidential Parkway closed its doors Tuesday night.

Local owner Brad Fink wrote in a news release, “It deeply saddens us to close our doors in Macon. We would like to thank our exceptional staff for their hard work and dedication and our loyal customers for their patronage over the years.”

Fink announced the restaurant’s closing to staff on Tuesday night. In an email, he stated that his team is working with the Georgia Department of Labor Career Center and Goodwill Job Connection to help employees find work.

Sonny’s BBQ has two other Middle Georgia locations in Warner Robins and Perry.
