Slim chance for storms as conditions stay warm Wednesday

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Humidity will continue to increase Wednesday leading to a chance for a shower or a storm in the afternoon/evening.
This Evening
A mostly sunny and warm afternoon will become a mostly clear and muggy night across Middle Georgia. The wind will remain light from the southeast through tonight with temperatures likely to valley in the mid 60s for most of the region. Fog will be possible leading into the start of Wednesday morning.
Tomorrow
A muggy morning likely featuring some fog will become a partly sunny and hot afternoon. Most locations will reach into the low 90s with the hot spots likely pushing the mid 90s. The wind will continue from the south-southeast around 5 mph. A stray shower or storm is possible however it is likely most if not all of Middle Georgia will stay dry.
Overnight will be partly cloudy with lows likely in the mid to upper 60s across the region. The odds for fog will be even higher Wednesday night as the wind will be light and variable.
Thursday and Beyond
Storm chances will climb more Thursday afternoon with the odds likely to become more widespread Friday and Saturday. Expect muggy and hot conditions leading through Memorial Day weekend and into early next week.
