Slight climb in temperatures Tuesday

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – More highs will reach 70 degrees Tuesday afternoon around the region.
This Evening
It’s been a sunny one for the first Monday of November and there will be plenty more where that came from this week. However the nights will still be chilly. Overnight tonight lows will largely drop below 40 degrees around Middle Georgia. Wind will be light from the north-northwest.
Tomorrow
Sunny skies are expected again Tuesday as highs will push to just above 70 degrees in the afternoon. Wind will shift to more from the east-southeast while staying light.
Overnight will be clear and chilly with lows largely expected just above 40 degrees. The coldest spots may drop into the upper 30s. Wind will be light out of the southeast.
Wednesday and Beyond
The sunshine will stick around throughout the week as highs temperatures start pushing into the mid to upper 70s. A few spots may reach 80 by Friday afternoon. Rain odds will stay down until Friday evening however a front over the weekend could bring a few showers Friday night/Saturday with plenty of wind early next week.
