Silver Screen Headed Back to Middle Georgia

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Middle Georgia actors and actresses that want to be on the big screen get ready, movie producers are headed back to the area.

The production company JC Films is holding a casting call for about 400 roles in their upcoming movie.

They’ll be filming in Macon, Griffin, and Jackson.

JC films is partnering with Rock Springs Church in Lamar County.

The movie, Virtuous, has a big time name attached to it.

“It’s about your modern day virtuous woman, Eric Estrada did the first faith based film in 1969. And he’s started back doing faith based films, he’s done four he’s about to do five more, and he’s really just wanting to end his career in the faith based film making,” Mishay Bingham, Unit Production Manager for JC Films said.

Casting calls for “Virtuous” begin Sunday, October 13 from 1 pm to 5 pm for all Rock Springs church members.

Monday, October 14, from 6pm to 9pm, for female auditions,

Tuesday, October 15, from 6 to 9, for male auditions.
