Shots fired at Warner Robins police officer, trainee

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Warner Robins Police officers are investigating an incident involving shots fired at an officer and trainee. 

Authorities say the incident happened on Saturday night around 9:15 p.m.

The WRPD responded to two men shooting a gun while walking along the 500 block of South Pleasant Hill Road, according to a news release.  

Authorities say upon the officer and trainee’s arrival, the two suspects fled on foot while firing shots at the officers.

Warner Robins Police, Houston County Sheriff’s deputies, and Georgia State Patrol troopers searched the area, but could not locate the men.
