Shooting victim involved in car accident while driving to hospital

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigation an aggravated assault and car accident with injuries.

According to a news release, 22-year-old Keith Beddingfield was shot around 10:00 a.m. Monday after an argument with a male suspect.

The shooting happened at the Budget Insurance Company at 2357 PioNono Avenue.

The suspect was last seen wearing a green hooded coat and a light blue stocking cap.

After Beddingfield was shot he attempted to drive himself to a local hospital and was involved in an accident.

Beddingfield ran a red traffic light and hit a couple in a Nissan Pathfinder.

All three were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
