WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A 15-inch sewer line near Holiday Park Riviera Mobile Home Park in Warner Robins was damaged Monday when a tree fell in the area, according to a social media update from the City of Warner Robins.

The city says the break caused sewage to spill into Bay Gall Creek, but crews responded quickly and diverted the flow to prevent service interruptions for customers.

“The City is taking all necessary precautions and is working in full compliance with the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) guidelines,” the notice said.

As a precaution, officials have placed warning signs along Bay Gall Creek and are urging residents to avoid entering or making contact with the water until further notice.

“The City of Warner Robins remains committed to public safety and environmental responsibility and will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available,” the notice continued.
