MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Partly sunny and near average temperatures are expected across Middle Georgia Wednesday.

This Evening

Scattered clouds will remain overhead through the late afternoon and evening. One or two showers or a storm will be possible through the evening and into early tonight. Skies should be mostly clear after midnight. Expect lows in the low to mid 70s accompanied by light wind from the east.

Tomorrow

Another partly sunny day is likely with highs in the low to mid 90s. Real feels will reach towards or just over triple digits in most spots once again. A few spotty storms and showers will be possible in the afternoon, however severe weather is not expected. Wind will be a bit breezy from the south-southeast at 5-15 mph.

Overnight will be mostly clear with lows expected in the low to mid 70s. Rain is not likely, however it will be muggy. Wind will flow from the south at around 5 mph.

Thursday and Beyond

Highs should return to the mid to upper 90s to finish the work week as the wind will slow with Invest93L moving west into the Gulf of America. Rain odds will remain low with UV indexes climbing to 11+, making sunblock an essential for anyone spending ample time outdoors.

Watching the Tropics

As of now Invest93L is crossing northern Florida and moving westward. It will likely become Tropical Depression 4 over the Gulf before potentially becoming Dexter. Major impacts from this will be avoided in the Peach State as it drifts further west later in the week.
