Salvation Army still offering ways to help before Christmas

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Christmas is Thursday, and it seems like it can’t get here soon enough.

The Salvation Army in Middle Georgia is working hard to serve people during the holidays.

Major Alan Hill dropped by 41NBC to talk about how you can get involved with the Salvation Army before Christmas.

He said you can still donate, and the Salvation Army truly needs it because kettle donations may be down this year due to rain.

Kettle bell ringers have been collecting money outside of stores this holiday season.

The money goes to the shelters the organization runs year round for those in need.

For more information on how you can donate, head over to the Salvation Army’s website.
