Rutland High School head football coach set to retire
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- Rutland High School Head Football Coach Mark Daniel announced that he is retiring after 3 seasons on the high school gridiron.
He explained that after finishing last season without a single win, it’s time for a change.
“It’s just going to be a transition. It can’t get any worse right now than where it’s at. So, they’ll find another staff. They’ll come in and coach and just keep going,” says Daniels.
Daniel retires with an overall record of 79 wins and 95 losses. However, he has seen success in his career while coaching several teams and winning a AAA title at Screven County in 2002.
