Russell Parkway Armed Robbery leaves police searching for suspect

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Warner Robins Police Department is currently searching for a suspect in connection to an armed robbery that  happened on Russel Parkway on Sunday.

According to the release from WRPD, officers responded to a call at Metro PCS on Russell Parkway around 5 p.m. where the clerk of the store said the suspect brandished a handgun in the store and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect fled the scene to the East on foot into the shopping plaza.

The suspect is described as a black male, standing at 6 feet tall, weighing around 240 pounds, wearing a light blue hoodie, blue jeans, and a black “COVID” style mask.
