Roberta man arrested for armed robbery

ROBERTA, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A 22-year-old Crawford County man is accused of robbing a convenience store on Highway 49 N.

It happened March 13 around 1:00 a.m at a Flash Foods Store.

Darrius Willis was arrested Sunday. The Fort Valley Department of Public Safety’s Facebook page says Willis turned himself into the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office around 7:00 p.m. He was later turned over to detectives from the Fort Valley Police Department.

Investigators are still working to identify a possible second suspect.
