Reward offered in Dooly County arson investigation

VIENNA, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The fire that destroyed the vacant Roseburg Forest Products warehouse has been ruled arson.

Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner, Ralph Hudgens, says the fire was intentionally set and he is now looking for the person or people responsible for sparking the blaze.

The building, formerly owned by Georgia-Pacific, was located off of Highway 41.

A $10,000 reward is now being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the people responsible.

Hudgens says the damage is estimated at $500,000.
