Restaurant Report Card: Back To Edenz

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – “Our motto is we cater to those who want better, and that’s what we try to do. We try to offer healthy options,” said Back To Edenz owner Gerard Andre.

Here’s the deal: you may not have tried vegetarian food before.

“We’re the only vegetarian restaurant actually in Middle Georgia,” said Andre.

But I’m here to tell you: don’t be afraid.

“A lot of our customers are not vegetarian or vegan. They’re just looking for healthier options,” said Andre.

Healthier and pretty darn good too.

“Good food, good environment, that’s what we strive for,” said Andre.

Back to Edenz sounds like any other restaurant–but it’s something unique in Middle Georgia.

“We’re just trying to make it where it’s a comfortable relaxed environment, we have customers that have meetings here,” said Andre.

The food is all vegan and vegetarian, which means there’s no animal products or meat used in the food.

And when it comes to the health inspection, only the best–a 100–will do.

“That’s what we strive for like I said, that’s what we try to offer: the best,” said Andre. “We pride ourselves in the different food that we offer. Our mac n cheese we try to make it the best that we can our chicken we try to make it the best so that way you’re not missing anything.”
