Rep. Hatchett appointed to two House committee

ATLANTA, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – State Representative Matt Hatchett (R-Dublin) was appointed to two house committee.

Hatchett will serve as a member of the House Rules committee and the House Appropriations Subcommittee on General Government Committee. He was also continue to serve as a member of the Economic Development & Tourism, Energy, Utilities & Telecommunications, ethics, and Health & Human Services committees.

“I’m honored to be appointed to the House Rules Committee and moved to the Appropriations Subcommittee on General Government,” Hatchett said in a statement. “I’m thankful for the opportunity to play a larger role in the legislative process through the work of these two very powerful committees, and I thank Speaker Ralston and the members of the Committee on Assignments for the appointments.”

Hatchett represents District 150, which includes portions of Johnson, Laurens, and Treutlen counties.
