Reichert Receives Endorsements from Big Names for Runoff Election

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon Mayor Robert Reichert says he’s going to use every second he can to build a better community, between now and the upcoming runoff election against former Macon mayor C. Jack Ellis.

Reichert held a news conference earlier today and had the support off major political players standing behind him; Bibb Commissioner Joe Allen, as well as state representative Nikki Randall to name a few.

Reichert wants the vision of the city of Macon to spread to the new Macon – Bibb consolidated government.

“We commit today to shared opportunity and to a rising economic tide that will float all boats equally. Join us…join us as we work to build a stronger Macon – Bibb County that is the hub city of the middle Georgia region,” Reichert said.

The runoff elections for the new Macon – Bibb consolidated government are on October 15.
