Coroner: Man killed while unloading truck in Macon
Coroner Leon Jones says the man’s name has not been released because his family has not been notified.

UPDATE: The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to the Ramada Inn on Chambers Road just before 3 p.m. Tuesday for a person down.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies found the man after he appeared to have been removing equipment from a truck when items fell on him.
The sheriff’s office says Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The man’s name will be released after his next of kin is notified.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A 52-year-old man died Tuesday afternoon after being crushed while unloading a truck at the Ramada Inn on Chambers Road, according to Macon-Bibb Coroner Leon Jones.
Jones says the man was unloading metal fencing around 2 p.m.
The man’s name has not been released because his family has not been notified.
