Skies will remain mostly cloudy with more than half the region likely to see storms again throughout the day. Watching the Tropics

Tropical Storm Dexter has formed in the Atlantic Basin but poses no threat to the USA as it will track to the northeast and stay over open water. There are two other areas to watch, however, with one having 30% odds for development off the coast of Georgia/The Carolinas and the other further east in the Atlantic with 50% odds to develop. Both those odds are over the next 7 days; nothing is anticipated in the short term at this time.
