Rain chances climb slightly Thursday

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Temperatures will reach into the upper 80s as a few sporadic storms will be possible.
This Evening
A partly cloudy afternoon will become a partly cloudy night with calm winds remaining out of the south around 5 mph. Patchy fog will be possible along with an off chance for a shower or storm. Lows will be in the upper 50s and lower 60s.
Tomorrow
It’ll be even warmer Thursday as highs reach into the upper 80s across Middle Georgia under partly cloudy skies. The warmest spots may hit 90 degrees. Wind will remain out of the south-southwest at 5-10 mph. A couple of showers or thunderstorms will be possible over the back half of the day.
Overnight expect it to be partly cloudy and muggy yet again for the first night of May. An isolated storm or shower may linger early. Lows will largely be in the lower 60s with wind staying calm from the south-southwest.
Friday and This Weekend
Friday will again be pretty hot and partly cloudy with a few isolated storms over the later half of the day. An incoming cold front will pass through on Saturday, bringing scattered storms over the later half of the day. Some could linger into the overnight hours. Temperatures and humidity will drop a bit into the start of the first full week of May.
