Ragan, Nemechek, Burton coming to SpeedFest 2015

CORDELE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A pair of NASCAR drivers are among the early entries for the annual SpeedFest event at Watermelon Capital Speedway.

Unadilla native and Sprint Cup Series driver David Ragan tops the list. Joining him will be 17-year-old NASCAR Truck Series driver John Hunter Nemechek, along with Harrison Burton, the 14-year-old son of NASCAR veteran Jeff Burton. Both Nemechek and Burton plan to run both of the scheduled races.

SpeedFest 2015 will take place January 23-25 at Watermelon Capital Speedway in Cordele. The event opens with practice on Friday. Qualifying will be held on Saturday.

The JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Pro Late Models will hit the track Sunday afternoon for a 125-lap special non-points event before the ARCA/CRA Super Series Super Late Models race 200 laps in a special non-points event.

Saturday – Adults $10, Kids 6-12 $5
Sunday – Adults $25, Kids 6-12 $15

3-day pass (Fri./Sat./Sun.) – $85
2-day pass (Sat./Sun.) – $65
Friday only – $25
Saturday only – $30
Sunday only – $35

Vehicle pass for Sunday – $25 + Pit Pass.

ATV/golf cart 3-day pass (Fri./Sat./Sun) – $75

Camping:
3-day pass (Fri./Sat./Sun) $100
