Preparations underway for Save America Rally in Perry

Former President Donald Trump will be in Perry this weekend for his Save America Rally.

PERRY, Georgia(41NBC/WMGT) — Former President Donald Trump will be in Perry Saturday for his Save America Rally.

According to the schedule, Trump will be joined by Herschel Walker, Congressman Jody Hice and Georgia Senator Burt Jones.

The event will be held at the Georgia National Fair Grounds in Perry.

Fairground officials say the event will take place by the east gate to prepare for the big crowds.

“It’s up to the vendor that rented our venue,” marketing and business development director for the Georgia National Fairgrounds Maggie Dimes said. “So everything from security to food vendors have all been coordinated through the team that’s planning this event.”
