MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Temperatures will push 90 degrees again Wednesday afternoon as sunny skies continue to dominate Middle Georgia.
This Evening
A sunny and warm afternoon will become another clear and relatively seasonal night as temperatures should valley a couple of degrees above average in the upper 50s. A few locations may remain just above 60 out the door Wednesday morning. Overnight wind will be light and variable.
Tomorrow
Wednesday will be another clear day across Middle Georgia as temperatures again push the lower 90s across much of Middle Georgia. The wind will remain light and variable throughout the afternoon.
Overnight will be clear and calm with low temperatures dropping to around 60 degrees. The wind will be light out of the south-southwest.
Thursday and Beyond
Like Wednesday high temperatures are expected to reach into the lower 90s for much of Middle Georgia Thursday afternoon. Both days could see a few record high temperatures get broken. The wind should begin to increase on Friday afternoon with a shift in the wind direction to out of the north leading into the weekend as a cold front arrives. The wind will also get stronger once this shift happens leading to a nice temperature drop off.
