Possible child abductor arrested in Twiggs County

Jeffersonville, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Twiggs County Sheriff’s Office Corporal Jeremy Johnson arrested a possible child abductor during a routine traffic stop.

According to a news release, 18-year-old Keith Alan Dubel possibly kidnapped a 13-year-old girl on December 7, after she went missing from a friend’s house.

Corporal Johnson conducted a routine stop on a black Dodge Charger for illegal tint on I-16. The driver was identified as Dubel and after investigation the passenger as the missing juvenile.

The juvenile refused to give her correct date of birth multiple times.

The minor’s parents and the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office has been contacted and a hold has been placed on Dubel.

Dubel was arrested and charged with a tint violation, impeding traffic flow, and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. He’s being held in the Twiggs County Law Enforcement Center.
