Police Search for Suspects Involved in East Macon Armed Robbery

In East Macon, Bibb Sheriff’s deputies are searching for two suspects in connection to an armed robbery that happened on Saturday night at the Dollar Store on Shurling Drive.

According to police, the two suspects confronted two employees at the front register and demanded money.

After they were given an undisclosed amount of money, both gunmen fled the scene.

No one was injured during this incident, but police are searching for two male suspects, both 6 feet tall.

One gunman was last seen wearing a black hooded sweat shirt, blue jeans, white tennis shoes and a white t-shirt covering his face.

The second robber was wearing a black shirt, black pants, and black shoes. He also had a white t-shirt covering his face.
