Police Officer Arrested for Family Violence

Macon Police officer Truman Tucker was arrested Saturday evening after a physical altercation with his 15 year-old daughter.

According to Tucker, he was only trying to discipline his child.

He is charged with one count of Battery-Family Violence,
and has been placed on a five-day suspension pending termination.

Tucker has worked for the Macon Police Department for four and a half years.
