Police find body behind Holiday Inn Express in Dublin

DUBLIN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a body was found behind a hotel Tuesday night.

According to a Facebook post from the sheriff’s office, the body was found in the woods behind the Holiday Inn Express on Hwy. 441 around 6:30 p.m.

Investigators believe the person died from suicide, but the body will be sent to the crime lab for an official determination.

The GBI is helping in the investigation.
