The Fourth of July has been a partly sunny and hot afternoon with very limited rain odds. This will remain the case through the evening, allowing for all holiday festivities to progress as planned. Overnight lows will be in the lower 70s accompanied by wind from the east-northeast around 5 mph. Gusts could still reach as high as 15 mph through the night.

Tomorrow

Saturday will be a pretty nice day as highs reach into the lower 90s with real feels into the upper 90s. Wind will be more pronounced from the northeast at 7-15 mph. Gusts will range from 15-25 mph. This is thanks to a low pressure to the southeast of the coast of Georgia trying to become a Tropical Depression. The odds of development are up to 70% over the next 7 days. This low could also spur on a few showers for the region through the afternoon and evening.

Overnight will be near average in the lower 70s with light wind from the northwest-northeast. The coolest spots may drop below 70. Skies overhead should have a handful of clouds.

Sunday and Beyond

Sunday will feature light wind from the north, however it will not be as noticeable as Saturday and conditions should feel hotter. Skies will be partly sunny with the possibility for an isolated shower.

Big time heat will return next week as the wind shifts back out of the south overnight Sunday. Expect highs pushing the triple digits with real feels pushing 110+. Heat advisories are likely to be issued to account for this.
