Piedmont Urgent Care in Perry sees more than 40 patients a day
The facility opened in May and operates from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week.

PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A new Piedmont Urgent Care facility in Perry is seeing more than 40 patients a day after opening in May.
The facility is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week. Brian Bobb, senior medical officer at the location, says the goal from the start was to provide as comprehensive a range of services as possible while helping connect patients to the broader care they need.
“We offer X-ray, we offer EKG, we see people that have had work injuries,” he said. “We have laceration repair, and labs both in-house and that we can get back the next day. So we really try to do the full scope of services. And then help people get plugged into primary care, or the specialist that they may need.”
Bobb said he was glad to finally mark the occasion with a formal celebration on Tuesday after a busy summer of serving patients. He views urgent care as a key resource for keeping Houston County healthy by connecting residents with the services they need.
