Personal armed robbery in East Bibb County
Deputies say a suspect approached the store’s clerk as he was walking to his vehicle, and forced the clerk to get inside and drive.
It is believed the suspect had a knife or box cutter, and held it at the back of the clerk’s neck.
He then demanded money as they were driving in the car. When he took the cash, he told the clerk to pull over and get out. The clerk then ran back to the store and called 911.
The vehicle was later recovered at the location where the clerk was told to get out, and the victim received three small cuts on the back of his neck.
