Perry Police Department asks for help locating missing woman last seen in June 2025
Police say Genia Gay Vickers was last seen in June 2025 and was reported missing on Saturday after a social media post drew attention to the case.

PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Perry Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a woman who was reported missing months after she was last seen.
Police say 59-year-old Genia Gay Vickers was last seen on June 23, 2025, walking near 1998 San Nunn Boulevard in Perry. In a news release on Monday, officers said they became aware of her disappearance on January 24, 2026, after seeing a social media post from another Facebook page. The case has since been formally reported and is under active investigation.
Investigators say they have received tips indicating Vickers may have been seen near Kroger on Watson Boulevard in Warner Robins. Detectives contacted two women in that area who matched Vickers’ general build and appearance, but police confirmed neither was Vickers.
According to police, Vickers is 5 feet tall, weighs about 105 pounds and has long blonde hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with “Reebok” in white lettering, denim shorts. She was carrying a green backpack.
Police encourage anyone with information to come forward.
