Perry Man Behind Bars After Attacking Store Clerk with Knife

PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Perry man is arrested after trying to rob a store and cutting the clerk with a knife. It happened at the Perry Food Mart on Carroll Street.

The Warner Robins Police K-9 unit tracked 26-year-old Damien Singletary to a home on Forest Street in Perry where he was arrested.

Singletary is charged with armed robbery and aggravated assault. He is currently being held at the houston county jail without bond.
